INTRODUCTION
Amateur sport and professional sport. Two sides of the same coin. Two
realities that try to merge but inevitably fail. Professional sports put an
emphasis on winning, no matter how. The list of athletes who are sanctioned
for consuming various substances is large. And it will surely continue to grow

In such a situation, two basic questions can be asked:

Why does an athlete decide to adopt such an attitude? Is it
inevitable that this will happen?
Beyond the ethical and moral questions, the reality is that there are many
pressures and interests that lead an athlete to use drugs to improve their
performance.
And it also becomes difficult to avoid this simply with disciplinary measures.
Reality shows us that since anti-doping tests were implemented to date, the list
of prohibited drugs and methods has grown overwhelmingly. And it doesn't
look like this is going to stop.
For this reason, and respecting the right of each individual to be informed and
make decisions, despite the fact that they compromise their health, I firmly
believe in education as a prevention tool. Because ultimately
tive can only be avoided whatis desired avoid. It is not my intention to advocate substance use. I am simply moved by the fact
of being honest with anyone interested in learning about an aspect of
professional and not so professional sports that is avoided by the vast majority
of health and sports professionals, who hypocritically criticize who incurs
certain practices, but they do not commit themselves in the least to find a
solution, if there is one, to a problem that advances day by day. To anyone interested in the search for the truth, I hope to be useful.
