El esfuerzo puesto para abrir una empresa es solo una parte del requerido para mantenerla operativa. La calidad es un pensamiento, un desarrollo; es una búsqueda, una manera, una forma viva, tan humana como las personas que involucra, una responsabilidad y un legado.
En este libro, Milton presenta un gran mapa en el cual se integran saberes de las ciencias económicas y sociales junto con estadÃstica y aspectos del desarrollo del ser humano, dentro de un marco práctico y empático. Sin ostentación y con lenguaje sencillo, pretende dar basamento a los planteamientos que desarrolla sobre la Gestión de la Calidad y su Liderazgo propio. Milton pasea al lector por conceptos bien explicados y reflexiones que dan muestra de su constante curiosidad sobre el tema de la calidad, y su experiencia docente e investigativa.
Invito al lector a interactuar de forma activa con esta obra, repasando conceptos cuando lo considere; avanzando y regresando, tanto como lo requiera. Es un texto para todo público que nos ayuda a poner atención en cómo percibimos lo que consumimos (bien o servicio) ya sea dentro de la empresa como trabajador, supervisor, gerente; o fuera de ella como consumidor final. Al afinar la percepción de lo externo, también se afinará la auto percepción, y como es lógico, la búsqueda de la mejora se convertirá en un estilo de vida simplemente porque producirá bienestar.
La suma colectiva de la mejora continua mejora la moral ciudadana y es la base para realmente avanzar como sociedad.
