In the remote hillside village of Gueda, a weathered ploughman named Isaac is struck in a vineyard by an unseen force and called by a name that is not his own. The incident awakens a buried chain of disturbances: riderless hoofbeats at night, bells ringing at impossible hours, hidden rooms opening behind walls and wardrobes, and a child mysteriously healed at a cost no one can yet understand.
At the centre of the unravelling is Aaron, a brilliant, emotionally restrained perfectionist who believes the supernatural is not chaotic but misaligned. He does not hunt ghosts - he corrects them. For years he has secretly fixed hauntings by restoring what he believes is the proper order of things. But in Gueda, his interventions begin to fracture reality instead. Memories shift. The dead return altered. The living begin losing their place in their own lives.
Then Adelaide arrives under a borrowed half-name, carrying fragments of a family history tied to the abandoned house above the valley, to a denied burial, and to a woman erased from the village record generations ago. As Isaac, Aaron, Adelaide, and an aging parish priest dig deeper, they uncover a hidden marriage, a silenced bell, a mother buried alive beneath vineyard roots, and a daughter sent away under the wrong name.
What seemed like a haunting is revealed to be something worse: not a curse, but a truth kept unfinished for generations.
Now the living must decide whether to preserve Gueda's old peace built on concealment - or tear open the final silence and let the dead be witnessed at last.
