We are not professional translators, but decided that this is an important book that needs to be made available to everyone in the West. Basically, the manual covers Russian new generation warfare general procedures for an armored rifle platoon and motorized rifle squad. It is rather obvious from reading this that the Russians did learn quite a few lessons from their experience in Afghanistan (example: When your convoy is ambushed, don't stop in the kill zone. Keep driving forward and get out of the kill zone, don't put the fuel tankers at the front of the convoy, etc.). If there is enough interest in this book, we will seek out other Russian combat manuals for translation and publication. The kindle version shows many of the maps in color.

The Combat Regulations for the Preparation and Conduct of Combined Arms Combat, Part 3 (platoon, squad, tank), outlines the main provisions for the preparation and conduct of combined arms combat by motorized rifle (machine gun) platoon (squad) and tank platoon (tank), as well as recommendations for actions of grenade launcher and anti-tank platoons (squads). The provisions and recommendations contained in the Charter should be applied creatively, in accordance with setting. With the release of this Battle Charter, the Combat Manual of the Ground Forces, part III (platoon, squad, tank), put into effect by the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of 1989 No. 45, loses its force.
