Large technology companies (IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc.) are expanding and offering platforms/services to assist AI Companies with development and deployment of services/solutions for a wide range of industries. The Reference Encyclopedia of AI Companies is the most comprehensive resource for detailed information on more than 15,000 AI companies worldwide that develop and/or utilize AI. The Reference Encyclopedia of AI Companies Web Version (Website) and two Printed Volumes track the latest changes in the status of AI companies, their key personnel (including Human Resources), their solutions/services, and the industries they serve. Our editors work directly with over 15,000 AI companies worldwide to update their company profiles on a regular basis. In addition, our editors record new companies as they are formed and revise the status of companies as they are acquired, merged, or have terminated developing AI. Each company profile offers a wealth of valuable data, and collectively it provides the broadest spectrum of information available on AI companies.
The Reference Encyclopedia of AI Companies Web Version and Printed Volumes As of December 2020, there is no permanent long-term electronic storage media that would be considered as archival. Printed books offer the only long-term version of any reference source, and we are publishing a printed edition to serve this archival purpose. The paper used in the printed edition is on Archival Paper. Archival Paper is an especially permanent, durable acid-free paper. Archival Paper is meant to be used for publications of legal, historical, or significant value, commonly referred to as 300-year paper. In the USA, such paper must also be approved in accordance with the ANSI standards. The international standard for permanent paper is ISO 9706 and for archival paper, the standard is ISO 11108. The Printed Volumes contain the core data in each company's profile, including the company's status in 2020.
