Freddie thinks he's ready for anything... until everything goes wrong.
From spilled juice and missing socks to spaghetti disasters and rainbow paint gone wild, Freddie's day is one big mess after another. Every time he tries to help, things get worse - and his poor teddy bear is along for the ride. But with a little heart, a lot of learning, and one very patient grown-up, Freddie begins to realize that being ready isn't about being perfect. It's about trying your best, picking yourself up, and learning as you go.
Ready Freddie: Isn't Ready is a funny, heartfelt picture book about responsibility, resilience, and growing up one oops at a time. Told in playful rhyme and paired with vibrant illustrations, it's perfect for ages 3-7 and ideal for read-aloud moments at home or in the classroom.
Whether your child struggles with routines, transitions, or just a bit of everyday chaos, Freddie's story is a reminder that trying matters more than getting it right the first time. This book supports early social-emotional learning (SEL) and helps little ones see that mistakes can lead to big lessons - and even bigger hugs.
Great for fans of silly picture books with heart, and especially for kids who aren't always ready... yet.
