The study Influence of parental responsibility in the crisis of children's education brings us face to face with the crisis of education and parental responsibility in the town of Glazoué, Benin. This is a major problem for today's society, especially for families. To understand the various aspects of the crisis is to try to explain how parents are helping to empty the content of children's education through their behavior. Using a structural-functionalist approach, the aim was to carry out a correlative analysis between parental responsibility and the crisis in education. The methodological approach is qualitative. Our sample was constituted according to non-probabilistic criteria, using the accidental or all-comers method. The interview guide and direct observation were used as data collection tools. Field results revealed that some parents are disengaging from their role as educators. Others, on the other hand, relegate it to second place; for the latter, economic activities come first.
