For several decades, my wife, Donna, and I have engaged in the foundation and management of various initiatives categorized under Non-Profit Ministries. Our initial foray into this sector involved personally navigating the procedures for acquiring non-profit certifications from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for our own ministry endeavors. Over time, this experience has positioned us as a resource for others seeking guidance on establishing their own non-profit entities. Common inquiries we encounter pertain to the foundational steps for setting up a non-profit like, the development of Articles of Incorporation, assistance in drafting Constitutions and By-Laws, and setting up a Launch Plan.
Additionally, we have had the honor of imparting knowledge on several non-profit management subjects including, but not limited to, how to organize and run a board room, implementing the motions passed in the real world, and strategies to secure funding for approved projects.
This book serves as an introductory guide to these subjects, and more, providing historical context on non-profit organizations, straightforward responses to prevalent questions, and supplementary insights that may benefit readers interested in pursuing non-profit endeavors.
