Volume 27 in the series collecting the lyrics of Irish singer/songwriter Paul Murphy.

This final anthology collects all-known material created in April 2025. Unable to write at this point, Paul took to recording most of these songs live into a video camera as they came to him, and transcribed them afterwards.

The material is presented as Paul had been able to prepare it, before Functional MND took away his ability to work on the final refinements, rather than the editors attempt to second-guess how he would have adjusted certain words and phrases.

Also included is a brief song-by-song essay that Paul was working on, cue-card artworks for online videos, and photographs of the few handwritten manuscripts that were able to be created.

As ever, a mix of subjects came to this master of the prose narrative format even in his final days - ballads, political excoriations, societal observations, love songs, bitter songs, angry songs and empowerting songs.

A fitting closure on a truly unique talent.
