This study's basic principle is to raise the issue of academic dropout and suggest the manufacture of a Gaiola Cross vehicle prototype in the off-road automotive segment, using reused materials (scrap) in most of the manufacturing process. Motivated by these observations and with the support of the supervising professor, with the necessary theoretical basis to carry out this study. Thus, this study was created with the main modifying agents being the management of our institution and teachers with their diverse experiences. Academic dropout is a problem that can be easily perceived in our daily academic life. This negative issue is evident in the early stages of the academic life of freshmen in higher education institutions. The losses incurred by students who begin their studies but do not complete their courses go far beyond the economic damage caused. This study aims to raise these issues in the academic environment, supporting and assisting academic research and, above all, academic teaching in subjects in the first semesters of engineering and technology courses.
