In modern industry, the reliability of rotating machinery is a key factor in operational continuity and process efficiency. This work presents a practical reference tool for assessing the condition of rotating equipment within the ranges of the P-F curve, using vibration analysis as the primary diagnostic technique.Based on experience gained in the sugar industry, the main failure modes and mechanisms are described and identified, along with the application of analytical tools such as relative phase, velocity and acceleration spectra, and waveform analysis. The objective is to facilitate the interpretation of vibration data and contribute to the timely detection of failures, thereby strengthening predictive maintenance strategies and equipment reliability.
