This book is focusing on different issues of labor. Labors are working in different sectors of economy but their socio-economic status is poorer. They do not get basic facilities at work and regular salary. The main principles of equality, equal opportunities, regular work hours, weekly off, maternity and paternity leaves are rejected in informal sector. Workers do not complaint but search different job opportunities with higher pay scale. Self-employed workers are poorer section of society. In terms of their efforts, they hardly mange their livelihood. Government do not provide any type of training and minimum pay scale to such workers. Number of industries are using technology and labors are replaced with machines. Gig workers are increasing in every sectors of economy but again social security benefits are limited.
