Le second volume comporte une série de chapitres traitant de phénomènes touchant à des forces qui nousenvironnent de toute part, forces peu connues et peu étudiées jusqu'ici.
Mais la Radiesthésie ne permet-elle pas précisément de ramener à un même principe toutes les Sciences ?

Occulte signifie donc ce qui est caché. Or, ce qui est caché n'a rien de péjoratif, ni de contraire à lacompréhension saine de l'homme équilibré.
Au fond, n'est-ce pas le rôle de la Radiesthésie de prospecter sur tout ce qui est caché ?
Les termes occultisme et occulte épouvantent un peu les esprits non informés.
On croit généralement qu'il s'agit spécialement de manoeuvres peu honorables, sinon louches.
De là de nombreux critiques qui jugent sans savoir, ou qui n'osent pas dépasser les limites ordinaires de l'hommevisible.
Les sciences occultes ne se sont-elles pas présentées à travers tous les âges avec leurs théories, leursméthodes, leurs procédés, leurs doctrines philosophique, psychologique, métapsychique, morale et sociale, dont laconnaissance, il faut bien le dire, fut toujours dissimulée aux vulgaires pour n'être réservée qu'à une catégoried'hommes capables d'utiliser les forces secrètes de la Nature ?
Il est bon de préciser que la Nature comporte des force 'saines' et des forces 'malsaines' et que, suivant l'espritdésintéressé ou égoïste des individus, on en arrive à envisager la magie bénéfique ou maléfique.
Voilà pourquoi on donne souvent un sens peu favorable à des choses qui provoquent l'inquiétude ou l'appréhensionchez ceux qui n'ont pas les connaissances nécessaires ou qui, par hypothèse paresseuse, redoutent de spéculer surles origines et les destinées de l'Homme et de l'Univers.
