Management, unions, and government officials discuss solutions to the problems of employment security, workmen's compensation, pension and insurance costs, and effective utilization of older workers. The aging worker is assessed with regard to changing capacities and skills, health, motivation, the need for counseling and retraining, and the feasibility of continued employment and flexible retirement practices. The problem of older women in the labor force is given special attention.
