This book consists of forty-three individual stories of true hunting, fishing, or related events, experienced by the author, his relatives and friends, over a period of sixty-five years. I began writing these stories when I realized they were an important part of my life, and would be lost forever, unless they were recorded for posterity. I eventually amassed over eighty different stories, but that was too much writing for my book. As a result I have reduced it nearly in half, by editing out all but the most interesting and memorable stories. They are humorous, unbelievable, factual, informational, and frightening, and I hope they make interest reading.
