The energy issue is a major challenge for the whole world and, above all, for our country (Tunisia), where energy costs are rising steadily every year, highlighting the need to manage electricity consumption effectively. Comprehensive energy management provides a better understanding and control of consumption and helps businesses to implement a strategy and working policy aimed at reducing electricity consumption, optimising the energy budget and, consequently, significantly reducing operating costs. To this end, BKS (Briqueterie Kalaa Sghira) has tasked me, as part of this project, with first identifying a solution to monitor all energy consumption data from a brick production line and then, in a second phase, implementing a central monitoring system for this solution. In this context, my motivation for this work is to design an automated energy management system to make the monitoring of electricity consumption more reliable and accurate in real time.
