This project presents the design and fabrication of a Portable Solar Air Cooler that operates using renewable solar energy. The increasing demand for cooling systems, especially in remote and rural regions, creates a need for low-cost, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly alternatives to conventional electrical coolers. This project integrates a solar photovoltaic panel, 12V DC fan, battery backup, water pump, and cooling pads to create a compact, portable, and sustainable cooling device. The fabricated model uses a 20W solar panel for powering the cooler during daylight, along with a 12V 7Ah battery to ensure continuous operation during cloudy conditions. The system demonstrates effective airflow, reduced electricity consumption, and portability. This portable solar air cooler is especially useful for outdoor workers, street vendors, small shops, villages, and areas without reliable electricity. It demonstrates that such a system can effectively provide comfortable airflow while maintaining low power consumption and promoting clean energy usage. The system reduces dependency on grid electricity, lowers operating costs, and is especially useful in remote or off-grid locations.
