At its heart is one solemn truth: many responsibilities can be delegated, but no one can repent, believe, receive Christ, or stand before God on another person's behalf. Salvation cannot be inherited, earned, purchased, negotiated, or secured through religion, morality, achievement, baptism, church affiliation, or good intentions. It is God's undeserved gift, received through repentance toward God and personal faith in Jesus Christ.

It calls every person to abandon false refuges, trust completely in the finished work of Christ, and receive the forgiveness, righteousness, reconciliation, eternal life, and new beginning that God freely gives to all who truly come to His Son.
