And the decay dial moves on its own, climbing toward a place no human ear should ever reach. When a winter storm traps him in the house, Jack realizes the Echo-X has opened a door. To a room that was sealed for a reason. A room that stores silence the way lungs store air. A room that grows stronger every time a sound is made. Something inside it listens. Something made of pressure and vibration. Something that has waited decades for a voice to finish the track it started.

Jack must stay quiet while navigating a house that no longer behaves like a house, while a sound-shadow stalks him through the dark, and while a long-dead band sings from a place deeper than any real bunker. If he threads the tape, the dead room will take him. If he refuses, it will find another way in.
