With a German psychology student who analyzes disasters like weather reports, a coworker who thinks shorts are a year-round lifestyle, and a villain who worships carbon paper, Max races across a broken Montreal to save the timeline. Along the way: lagging pigeons, analog militias, a cow-spotted Gateway 2000, and the single most important Cher remix ever burned onto a CD-R.
