This present book Children in Dewey Decimal Classification actually tries to focus on the treatment of subject descriptors on children in all the printed editions of DDC. At the same time the focus has been given on the growth of the literary warrant published on children and its correlated subjects which are easily available in bibliographic format in the WorldCat database. After reviewing related literature it has been found that in spite of so many thoughtful analytical works on DDC, focus has not been given on the subject development of children in DDC. So a knowledge gap is seen in this regard.
