Norman's third main release and first chapbook tackles themes of capitalism with varying forms of poetry. Containing eleven poems: eight prose, one free verse, one acrostic, and one hermit crab poem, even with a smaller amount of content, their composition, organization, and contents make up for the fact . Addressing topics such as gambling, financial crime, corporate greed, and climate change in abstract ways, especially seen with the titles of some of the pieces, like Jackalopes Dream of Change but Receive Me Instead, A Backwards, Resisting Cog is Still Part of the Machine, and the eponymous poem. Overlapping themes between pieces is kept to a minimum to ensure a lack of redundancy. Similar poems tackle and focus on different aspects of a shared theme to avoid this as well. As the title of the chapbook suggests, these pieces are constructed with the hope of highlighting some of the more forgotten aspects of the economy in recent times, like cryptocurrency, financial crime, and stock market, while still addressing more well known issues like the job market, gambling, and climate change. A lot of research and personal interest went into the creation of this chapbook, especially as it was originally created and submitted for school project credit. Minor touch-ups and creative liberties being taken since its original submission in early May of 2026. With regret from the quality of his other releases afterwards, Norman has thoroughly reviewed and workshopped each piece to ensure quality to his standards worthy of being published. This piece serves as Norman's most polished and impactful work, and serves as merit to his talent as an aspiring poet. Norman intends afterwards to release longer chapbooks addressing other themes afterwards to add to his range and contributions, and wanted to publish this collection although small as he believed the time, passion, and research he put into this project for school originally should be shared outside his studies.
