Natural fibres have been used as reinforce materials for last three decades to prepare the natural fibre reinforced polymer composites. Presently they have been employed in combination with plastics. Different types of natural fibres flax, hemp, jute, sisal and banana, etc. have been reinforced with polymer matrix to replacing the conventional materials in the various fields. The advantages of natural fibres like renewable resources, availability, recyclability and marketing appeal. These agricultural wastes can be used to prepare fibre reinforced polymer composites for commercial products. The total weight of the fan wings and cost of the fan is compared with existing method. The feasibility of the fibre reinforced polymer composites as fan wings is studied and compares the performance of existing fan wings with new fan wings.
