This book is the Chinese translation of Weiying Zhang's doctoral dissertation at the University of Oxford. Its core contribution is the author's Entrepreneur-Contract General Equilibrium Theory-a framework integrating contract theory and entrepreneurship theory-which examines the determinants of enterprise delegation rights (ownership) arrangements in market economies. These insights retain profound relevance today.
The original manuscript received Oxford University's 1992 Economics Dissertation Prize. This Chinese edition features new additions, including critical commentaries by economists Chunlin Zhang, Dingding Wang, Shuguang Zhang, and the author's formal responses.
