This research focused on the challenges faced by teachers in implementing Braille in the classroom. The study addresses the need to understand the barriers that still hinder the implementation of inclusive practices, highlighting issues related to teacher training, the availability of adapted materials, and institutional support. It proposes a reflection on how the use of Braille, as a tool for accessing reading and writing, requires specific pedagogical training and a commitment from schools to ensure equitable learning conditions. The overall objective of the research was to analyze the challenges encountered by teachers in incorporating the Braille system to facilitate the participation of people with visual impairments. The methodology chosen for this study falls within the quantitative approach; from the perspective of its objectives, it is descriptive, employing bibliographic and field research procedures, with a sample of sixty teachers selected through simple random probability sampling.
