In this work, we aim to improve the efficiency and performance criteria of photovoltaic systems under the effect of partial shading. This condition distorts the power-voltage characteristics of photovoltaic panels, creating a multiplicity of power maximum points (local maximums and a global maximum). Indeed, under the influence of partial shading, MPPT techniques are no longer able to distinguish the global maximum, leading to a significant loss of power.
