Caro amico, da tempo desideravo scrivere il mio testamento per te. L'ho chiamato: Testamento! La saggezza di uno stolto. Non ti lascio né oro, né argento, né diamanti. Vorrei lasciarti qualcosa di più permanente che durerà per sempre: è la saggezza di uno sciocco, riversata dai miei pensieri sulle pagine bianche di carta, scritta con inchiostro nero. È la saggezza nero su bianco o bianco su nero. Su sfondi diversi, entrambi sono chiaramente visibili e facili da leggere. È la saggezza di un uomo che sta lentamente raggiungendo la fine della sua maratona di vita. Non sa quando la finisce, ma da un uomo saggio, meglio essere preparato.
Vorrei scriverti in modo inconfutabile, ovvio, enfatico, inequivocabile, chiaro e irrefutabile, affinché tu non abbia dubbi sulla mia sincerità . Nel momento in cui mi trovo, non avrebbe senso per me mentire o nascondere qualcosa. Perché presto, dovrò rendere conto di tutta la mia vita davanti alla Vita che mi ha dato la vita. Davanti a Lui nulla è nascosto e tutto è così evidente. San Paolo lo spiega molto semplice e chiaro:
Ora vediamo come in uno specchio, in maniera confusa; ma allora vedremo a faccia a faccia. Ora conosco in modo imperfetto, ma allora conoscerò perfettamente, come anch'io sono conosciuto (1Cor 13,12).
Questo non è altro che conoscere la Verità nella Verità , ciò in conseguenza, porta alla libertà . Vale la pena porsi la domanda: Dov'è la fonte della vera libertà ? Gesù risponde a questa domanda:
Se rimanete fedeli alla mia parola, sarete davvero miei discepoli; conoscerete la verità e la verità vi farà liberi (...) se dunque il Figlio vi farà liberi, sarete liberi davvero (Gv 8 31-32.36).
Sono sicuro che questo momento si avvicina perché vedo la realtà delle cose sempre in modo più chiaro e semplice. Mi sembra che si stiano staccando da me cose che mi hanno impedito di vedere in anticipo la Verità . È una sensazione meravigliosa e nello stesso momento dolorosa, perché posso vedere il bene e il male nella mia vita.
- È meraviglioso, perché mi sto avvicinando all'Amore che ho sempre amato, anche se spesso non come meritava. Questa crescente corsa verso di essa mi libera dalle grinfie del male, dal mio egoismo, dall'attaccamento alle cose e alle persone.
- Doloroso, perché spesso l'ha ferito con i miei peccati. È ancora più doloroso perché sento che questo Amore, nonostante del male da me commesso, mi ama.
C'è un grido dal mio cuore:
sono arrivato ad amarti troppo tardi, Amore mio. Troppo tardi, ho scoperto che l'unico significato e il senso nella e della mia vita sei Tu!
Quanti momenti sprecati per ottenere cose irrilevanti. Quanta energia sprecata per raggiungere la vana gloria e dignità .
Come vorrei tornare indietro nel tempo, ma con la saggezza e consapevolezza presente, per vivere la mia vita solo per Te, in Te e per gli altri. Quante cose cambierei e vivrei diversamente. Questi sono sogni che non riesco a realizzare. Una cosa posso accettare umilmente, la mia vita con ciò che è buono e cattivo e metterla nelle tue mani trafitte per amore per me.
