The first three books in The Yesterday Shoppe series presented nine fictional stories or individuals whose lives were wonderfully affected by an item from one of The Shoppes. With a bit or poetic license, each of the stories is based on real life experiences of friends, family or close associates. In this book, I have decided to present a wide variety of stories that come, in various forms, from the community in which I have lived for the past 25 years...the Carson Valley. There are those who believe that I often live in a fantasy world in which inanimate objects can sometimes touch people's lives in a wonderful way. To those, I would simply say we see what we want to see, we hear what we want to hear, and we believe what we want to believe. I believe that life is a wonderful gift, and that every day we are given a choice of immersing ourselves in joy or sorrow, love or anger, happiness or despair, curiosity or fear, overcast skies or rainbows. Every minute, I choose to fill my life with...joy, love, happiness, curiosity and rainbows!
