There are some individuals in history who leave such an indelible mark on the world that their legacy lasts long after they've departed. Sir William Osler is one such person. A Canadian physician, Sir William Osler was widely regarded as the father of modern medicine. Born in 1849 in Ontario, he went on to become one of the most influential medical educators and practitioners of his time.
