Mara Bennett has survived office deadlines, family interrogations, and enough unwanted dating advice to last a lifetime. When everyone begins treating her single status like a national emergency, she finally gives in and joins a dating app.
The messages arrive immediately-but only one man catches her attention.
Alessio De Luca is handsome, mysterious, and completely silent.
So Mara messages him first.
A month later, he finally replies-with an invitation to dinner. In Sicily. That evening.
Before Mara can explain that normal people require notice before flying across the world, Alessio informs her that his private jet is waiting-and that he has already called her boss.
That should have been her first warning.
Alessio isn't an ordinary businessman. He is the powerful head of a Sicilian organization surrounded by secrets, enemies, and rules Mara has no intention of obeying. What begins as one impossible dinner becomes a dangerous adventure filled with family interference, office chaos, ruthless betrayal, unexpected passion, and a conspiracy that places them both in danger.
But Mara is no helpless damsel. She has intelligence, courage, and years of office experience-and she is about to prove that spreadsheets, scheduling skills, and a stubborn refusal to panic can be surprisingly useful against the mafia.
The Sicilian Don Wasn't on My Calendar is a funny, passionate romantic suspense novel about an ordinary woman, a dangerously complicated man, and the dating-app message that changes both their lives.
