The importance of literary translation in the literary space is undeniable - not only inside but also outside the literary context. The significance of this phenomenon has been manifested in various ways, sometimes hidden, as if secondary, yet it has not disappeared, remaining unchanged within the framework of traditional priorities and continuing to fulfil its form-forming function in the process of interliterary synthesis. The collection presents articles published between 2017 and 2024 that broadly cover the issues of historical and literary explications in the discourse of translations of Kyrgyz poetry into Russian. This field of study includes various processes of origin and formation of artistic translation, which took place simultaneously with the emergence and development of national literature.
