One of the greatest personal challenges in life is to determine or to discover the reason why we are here on this earth. Not knowing the answer can make life somewhat of a mystery and is oftentimes stressful, especially as we are getting older. And if our destiny is identifiable, then we want to know if we are on the right track in our lives. These reflective moments of self-examination help us to evaluate our career and our walk-through life as well as determining where we are in fulfilling our purpose on earth.
Looking back over the years spent on this earth, the tangible outcomes of life do not adequately reflect the sacrifices, work, and the time invested both in the natural and the spiritual dimensions of life. Why then is there usually a discrepancy between the actual outcomes compared to what was previously envisioned, and, sometimes, planned? It's due to the disturbing and unsettling feeling deep down within our souls that we all anticipated a lot more than our actual situation at this stage of our lives, since we are designed to want more, to get more, and do more, regardless of what more is to us individually and collectively.
However, each person is born with a gift, but whatever the gift one may have, and whatever the calling may be, the endgame is to better the world and to change others' lives. The only way the world can be improved is if each human being commits to the journey of finding oneself, discovering one's gifts and talents, and put them to use to help others in a selfless way. For this single reason, we should all make it our lives' purpose to use our gifts to improve other people's life conditions. We have known, read about, and heard of many influential individuals who, against all odds, impacted the world and left a legacy that we are all using and benefiting from. These legendary figures discovered who they are, what their calling in life was. You can be on that list too if you take the time to search for all your talents and gifts, put them to good use to benefit others. It's a journey worth embracing, including some ups and downs designed to make you stronger and teach you valuable lessons for success, and, believe me, it's a life worth living, a life that was designed for you to enjoy and live happy, confident, and FULFILLED.
