A famous Colorado hotel. A legendary haunted room. A ghost-hunting crew desperate for one last hit episode. When the crew of Dead Air America checks into a historic mountain hotel to film a winter special, they expect elegant dread, chilling folklore, and the infamous Room 217. A brutal snowstorm traps them inside with a handful of guests and a skeleton staff, turning the hotel into the perfect haunted setting. At first, the haunting behaves exactly the way ghost stories are supposed to behave. A glass moves. A piano plays in an empty ballroom. A child laughs behind a bathroom door. Luggage shifts on its own. The crew captures impossible footage and believes they may have finally found proof of the afterlife. Then the hotel begins assigning rooms that do not exist. Keycards open doors into childhood bedrooms, lost loved ones, abandoned hallways, impossible forests, and memories so personal they should never have left the mind. The hotel does not simply scare its guests. It studies them. It learns their guilt, grief, hunger, shame, and secret wishes. Then it builds a room around the wound and waits for them to accept it. As the storm erases the road and guests from different decades gather in the lobby, the crew realizes Room 217 is not the source of the haunting. It is the mouth. To escape, they must refuse the rooms that know their names, destroy the final footage before the hotel edits them into its history, and survive until dawn-before checkout becomes impossible. But the hotel honors all reservations. And some rooms never stop waiting.
