SISTER SONGS - The Sixty-Four is the companion volume to Albums IV through VII by Nine Paths to One, a global mantra cycle of unprecedented scope: four albums, sixty-four songs, sixty-four cultures, four kingdoms (human, animal, plant, mineral) walking together.
This is not a generic celebration of the feminine. It is a precise mapping of how sixty-four named women - the Hackney travel journalist, the Tibetan dakini, the Garifuna drummer, the Korean mudang shaman, the Lakota pipe-carrier, the Mongolian throat-singer, the Diné Beauty-Way chanter, the Quechua master weaver, the Cuban iyalocha, the Yemeni poet of compassion - walk the same nine paths from suffering into flourishing, in their own cultures and their own tongues.

Full portraits of each woman: her tradition, city, role, age, the Shadow she has transmuted, the Gift she now carries, the Essence she has become, her mantra in its original language with full translation and meaning, her Path connection, her unique contemplative practice, her cosmic animal, her flower (from the Mother of Auroville's catalogue of spiritual significances), and her mineral (from the lithotherapy lineage and her ancestral land).
