I can't say I was looking forward to retirement. I enjoyed working. Six months into retirement I found myself busier than I ever expected to be and the past year and a half has flown by.But, what I discovered early on was that my wife had much different ideas about what my retirement should be.This was my motivation for writing this story. Is there a right or wrong opinion? No, just a difference of opinion and by a turn of events this turned into a joint project to present a He said, She, said account of how expectations can differ.Or more to the point the realization that you may make assumptions in your belief that you and your spouse are both on the same page.If your close to retirement this may give you some insight into what you may soon encounter. If retirement is off in your future this story will hopefully help you build a mutually agreeable plan with your spouse.
