Pulpsploitation is simply the combination of classic pulp heroic fiction of the 30s and 40s with the exploitation genre of the 70s and 80s. Five masters of modern pulp step back into the 70s and 80s to introduce new takes on classic pulp and golden age comic characters, each completely re-imagined for a new generation. Fighting against a world even darker than their pulp roots, this new generation of hero must battle corrupt politicians, rampant criminal empires, insane dictators and much more! Nicholas Ahlhelm revives Airboy in 1982 to face the return of the threat that almost killed him! Teel James Glenn introduces the next generation of the Gunmaster as he faces down a threat connected to his own origins. Frank Byrns introduces the heir to the mantle of the Black Bat in a gritty crime drama set in one of the darkest spots in New York's history. Steven Gepp reintroduces Tabu, the jungle lord from times past. And Caine Dorr introduces an older, grizzled Jeff Shannon, now as the head of the international task force that uses his codename: E.A.G.L.E. These five new stories kick off a new universe of adventure that promises action and excitement for years to come!
