In the tradition of the Alchemist and Jonathon Livingston Seagull, Paulo and the Magician comes to us as an enchanting fable, but with a special message. Ambitious and provocative, the story takes the reader through the metaphysics and psychology of A Course In Miracles, weaving in the principles of its challenging philosophy, leaving the reader with a full appreciation of this extraordinary work - all seen through the eyes of Paolo, an unhappy young wood seller desperate to find happiness in the dark medieval prison-town of the Domain. Paulo's life abounds with the type of people who confront us every day - an unscrupulous Mayor, a violent Blacksmith, ungrateful clients - and it seems that things will never get better. But following an inner vision, he learns that the fortress Wall is not the solid defense it appears to be and escapes into the sun-filled land beyond. There he meets the Magician whose teachings lead the boy resolutely back along the path toward the Golden City, his true Home.
