O Sefer Bamidbar, ou Livro de Números, dentre todos os cinco livros que compõe a Torah é o mais atual e ético. Nele são relatados histórias pouco conhecidas e ensinadas, histórias nas quais vemos atitudes e comportamentos louváveis e reprováveis que se encontram intrinsecamente dentro de todo ser humano, seja um justo ou não. Um dos principais principais temas de Bamidbar é a ética humana ensinada pela Torah, pela qual todos podem verdadeiramente levar uma vida de constante Avodat Hashem.
A obra SHA'AREI TORAH não visa abordar o Livro de Números de forma literal e nem tão pouco de elucidar seus relatos, mas, através de grandes sábios, do Talmud e do Zohar, apresentar uma interpretação que vai além da usual. Encarar de frente o entendimento simples que é passado através de uma simples leitura é a verdadeira chave para o sucesso no aprendizado da Torah. Um dos principais fatores que inspirou essa obra é a escassez que de ensinos sobre o Livro de Números que há. Muito da literatura aqui abordada, como os comentários dos maiores sábios, nunca foram traduzidos e se encontram apenas na lÃngua hebraica, assim como o Talmud e o Zohar que se encontram em sua grande parte apenas em aramaico. Essas fontes de inspiração, as quais são muito bem preservadas e seus ensinos guardados a sete chaves, serão a base de tudo que será tratado ao decorrer dessa obra.
A forma como esse livro foi composto segue a forma midráshica de ensino bÃblico, a qual procura ensinar a Torah através de explicações e ensinos baseados em versÃculos contidos nas parashot. Pelo fato de existirem poucas obras que abordam os conteúdos e temas contidos nesse livro nas lÃnguas ocidentais, essa obra visa expandir o conhecimento da Torah à queles que possuem acesso restrito ao profundo entendimento da Palavra Divina devido à s barreiras linguisticas.
Sha'arei Torah, Portões da Torah - Bamidbar 6 elucida as palavras divinas do Livro de Números de maneira mÃstica e espiritual, sempre voltando seus ensinos ao lado comportamental humano.
