That's how Jeffrey Meyers answers questions about all of God's promises to Israel in the Old Testament, whether regarding God's covenant with Israel or the promised land of Palestine.
Meyers' book seeks to show how the Bible itself answers the problem of Israel and the land of Palestine, and why the modern nation-state of Israel is not the chosen people of God. By emphasizing the fulfillment of promises to Israel in Jesus Christ, the Bible also avoids spiritualizing the promises to Israel as though to claim the Church is the true or spiritual Israel. Rather, because Jesus inherited all the world (including Palestine) as His possession, the world belongs to Him and His chosen people-the Church-forever.
