This study is part of a broader investigation into the chemical composition and the antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant activity of aromatic and medicinal plants found in Algerian flora, with the aim of identifying new bioactive compounds of natural origin that exhibit biological activity. The results obtained can be considered an important source of information on the phytochemical, antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant properties of the essential oils of Artemisia herba alba Asso. and Mentha piperita L. These local plants are a potential source of various compounds with biological activities, which attests to and justifies their use in food and traditional medicine as treatments for various pathologies.
