،۱۳۷۶نهمین جلد این مجموعه به طنز ایران در فاصله انقلاب ایران تا آغاز اصلاحات، یعنی دوم خرداد اختصاص دارد. این دوره به گمان من از نظر تاریخی خصوصیاتی دارد که آن را از پیش و پس از آن متمایز می]کند. از نظر پژوهشی در مورد این دوره جز کار خانم رؤیا صدر به نام بیست سال با طنز) کار مستقلی صورت نگرفته است، البته مقاله محمود فرجامی که به بررسی) طنز این دوران پرداخته نیز کاری است ارزشمند که به پژوهشگران این دوره خاص تاریخی کمک می]کند. من در این جلد کوشش می]کنم به طنزنویسانی بپردازم که در این دوران به کار پرداختند یا بیشترین کارهای آنان در این دوران رخ داده است. من این دوران را به نام مهمترین طنزنویس شاخص آن، یعنی (گلآقا ) نام نهادم. کیومرث صابری فومنی معروف به گلآقا اگرچه مدتی در فاصله سال]های ۱۳۷۷ تا ۱۳۵۰در هفته]نامه توفیق هم می]نوشت و هم در اداره آن مؤسسه مشارکت داشت، از نیمه اول دهه شصت، یعنی از اواخر سال ۱۳۶۳ به طنزنویسی در روزنامه اطلاعات در ستون (دو کلمه حرف حساب) پرداخت. این ستون پرمخاط]]ب]ترین ستون طنز مطبوعاتی کشور از سال ۱۳۵۷ تا ۱۳۷۶ بود. اگرچه صابری تنها کسی نبود که در این دوران طنز می]نوشت.
