The unique edifice of Turton Tower has stood near the Lancashire village of Chapeltown for over five hundred years. During that time it has spawned numerous reports of paranormal happenings. Ghostly figures of men and women and even dogs have been sighted. Orbs have been photographed and mystery voices heard. The Tower's museum plays host to an ancient cradle that is said to 'rock' independently at the midnight hour. There are also two human skulls having a long history of poltergeist activity. Various paranormal investigators make visits to the Tower. It is claimed that the Tower is 'very busy' with spiritual activity.
