Information and Communication Technologies are nowadays an indispensable tool in professional work, in order to dynamize research and productive processes at all levels. That is why digital and informational competences promote knowledge in societies and specifically for Health Sciences, they have a transcendent value. Higher Medical Education as a macro process for the undergraduate level, specifically shows the need for technologists to be trained in this type of competencies, which enable them to adapt to a digital era and to the constant changes in technology that are part of their professional practice, making them more competent and competitive once they reach the professional practice after graduation. In this context, the author proposes a methodological strategy for the use of ICT's in the formation of informational competences in this field for students of the Faculty of Technology of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba.
