Food is converted to electricity which is converted to Light! The food capable of producing the most light, magnetism or electricity is the healthiest, the food that steals light, magnetism or electricity is the most toxic. Dead food cost life, this is why it has the highest thermic cost, thermic cost is how much life you need to put into it during conversion.
