On the night of his eighteenth birthday, Dorian Crowe is murdered-and wakes up a vampire.
With no memory of who turned him and no understanding of the supernatural world he has suddenly entered, Dorian receives an invitation to Tenebris Collegium, a secret academy where vampires, witches, werewolves, spirits, fae, and other supernatural beings learn to live among humanity without revealing their existence.
As the first vampire ever admitted to the academy, Dorian quickly discovers that many students and faculty view him as a threat. While struggling to control his new abilities, he becomes entangled in ancient rivalries, political schemes, and growing tensions between the supernatural community and those who hunt them.
Within the shadowed halls of the academy, among forbidden knowledge, hidden histories, and secrets buried beneath centuries of tradition, Dorian forms unlikely friendships with a diverse group of students carrying burdens of their own. Together, they must navigate a world where trust is fragile and every answer uncovers new dangers.
When attacks on the academy reveal a larger conspiracy, Dorian finds himself at the center of a conflict that could expose the hidden world and endanger everyone he has come to care about. To survive, he must learn who he is, what kind of monster he wants to become, and whether he can forge a place for himself in a world determined to define him by his nature rather than his choices.
The Halloween Academy is the first installment in a supernatural fantasy series blending dark academia, mystery, adventure, friendship, and coming-of-age themes within a modern magical school setting.
