Alongside a diverse group of friends-including a witch torn between trust and fear, a clever kitsune, and other students carrying secrets of their own-Dorian must uncover the truth about his transformation before powerful forces decide his fate for him.
When attacks on the academy reveal a larger conspiracy, Dorian finds himself at the center of a conflict that could expose the hidden world and endanger everyone he has come to care about. To survive, he must learn who he is, what kind of monster he wants to become, and whether he can forge a place for himself in a world determined to define him by his nature rather than his choices.
