SURRENDER...to what? For many, the word implies giving up or coming under another's control. What happens when one entity overpowers another. Surrender seems to mean giving up your power to the greater strength of another. But does it? As we come into adulthood, the world calls us: we care about the opinions of others, making a living, and being in the world. Gradually though, as we age, that slips away, and we begin to take in the Holy Presence in which we live and breathe. We begin to experience what it is to surrender to Spirit. In surrender, we find our wholeness.
