You already know the alphabet, pronunciation, greetings, numbers, colours, and basic vocabulary. Now use that foundation to speak about family, home, time, weather, dates, hobbies, feelings, and routines.

- Use regular present-tense endings: -e, -st, -t, -en
- Talk about family, professions, countries, and languages

- Tell the time correctly, including the German halb pattern

- Name months and seasons, discuss weather, and give dates
- Talk about hobbies with gern and express feelings naturally
- Recognise 520 essential German words
Grammar appears only when it helps you communicate. You will practise full verb conjugation, possessive articles, W-questions, nicht versus kein, word order, and the Nominative case.
You will also learn the five major plural patterns:
- No change: das Zimmer → die Zimmer
- Umlaut only: der Vater → die Väter
- Add -e: der Tisch → die Tische
- Add -er: das Bild → die Bilder
- Add -n or -en: die Frau → die Frauen
Every noun appears as article + noun + plural, so you learn each word as a complete unit.
Master Two Essential German Trapshalb acht means 7:30, not 8:30.
German counts forward toward the coming hour.
einundzwanzig means 21, not 12.
German says one-and-twenty, a pattern used in prices, addresses, and phone numbers.
You will also practise the V2 rule:
Ich esse morgens Brot.
Morgens esse ich Brot.
The first element changes, but the verb remains in second position.

The scope is deliberately focused. Accusative forms, modal verbs, and separable verbs arrive later. Here, you strengthen the Nominative case, present tense, plural system, and basic word order before adding complexity.
