Dear Ann, I am a constant reader of your essential oil books. I have found them to be very useful for a number of conditions we face in our household. My oldest and dearest friend was recently diagnosed with anxiety, which has also resulted in mental fatigue. I have been looking for the perfect essential oil recommendation to give her, and I'm coming up short. Please Help! Say no more, I am always happy to offer my help whenever called upon. From the sounds of it, I would say your friend should be introduced to Frankincense essential oil. This is one of the oldest, and best known substances on Earth; it was once so highly valued that citizens around the world referred to it as Liquid Gold.
Frankincense has a long history of being used to support the body's immune system when dealing with anxiety and mental fatigue simultaneously. I would suggest introducing her to the warm and invigorating aroma of Frankincense, perhaps with a room diffuser, or even through massage therapy.
There are recipes included in this book for a Calming Mood Mist, Calming Rub, and a Meditative Mood Enhancer, all of which can help alleviate symptoms associated with anxiety and depression, as well as the mental fatigue that goes along with it.
