Fly ash is a major particulate waste which is generated during coal combustion in Thermal Power Plants. Fly ash contents several macro and micro nutrients which are beneficial to plants growth. It also affects to nematodes. In this book, the potential of fly ash to manage the root - knot nematodes problem on vegetable crops has been described in great detail. The soil application of fly ash with 20% is very beneficial for the crops. Therefore, for the first time this level (20%) is recommended for the management of root-knot nematodes in the vegetable fields. Present book is very useful to students, scientists, plant pathologists, nematologists, researchers, farmers and agriculturists in general and environmentalists in particular because the use of fly ash in the agricultural fields improves the fertility of soil and on the other hand it controls the nematodes. The disposal problem of huge amount of fly ash is also solved. This book should also be useful to coal based industries as well as fertilizers companies' researches.
